Giving With Discretion

Ps.112:5 "A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion." This is an excellent verse that reminds us to be benevolent yet use discretion in our benevolence!

Fearing the Lord Yet Serving Their Own

"They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence." II Kings 18:41 How many Christians do this! They fear the Lord and are saved but live their own way and do their own deeds of pleasure!

Seeing Souls Saved

Was a pleasure to be able to see Ethan trust Christ as his Saviour tonight! Praise the Lord for great weather for soul winning! Love the 70s!!!

Joram and the House of Ahab

The book of II Kings tells us that Jehoshaphat made a league with Ahab to go to war with him. There is an indication that Jehoshaphat and Ahab were close. So close in fact that Jehoshaphat's son married the daughter of Ahab. II Kings 9:27 tells us that his son, Joram, walked in the ways of the wicked house of Ahab because he was the son-in-law to Ahab

We see here that too close of association can cause a deadly combination!

Brandon

I was able to witness to Brandon on Saturday and he trusted Christ as his Saviour. On Sunday he came to church and followed the Lord in baptism. Brandon us super excited about growing in the Lord and studying the Word!
